The Thames Valley Vintage & Classic Car Club would like to invite all Pre 1980’s Vehicles to join them in a wonderful day of celebrating New Zealand History, as part of the Thames Heritage Festival.
Saturday - Veteran, Vintage and Classic Car Show
Saturday is a great opportunity to extend your Coromandel experience.
Assemble at Rhodes Park from 9.30am for a 10.30am start. The parade route will take you thru the heart of Thames down Pollen St and Grahamstown.
While you vehicle is on display enjoy the Smell, Taste & sound at the Victorian Fete, held in the Thames Historical Museum Grounds or wonder thru the stalls of the Iconic Grahamstown market just a block over in Pollen Street.
A procession will travel along Pollen Street to Victoria Park where the cars will be parked. Lots of family entertainment including bouncy castle, face painting, candy floss, ice-cream, music, Devonshire Tea, Croquet games, plus more. Come dressed in your best attire and enjoy a great day out with the family.
The Heritage Festival offers many other events, including “The old Time Heritage Dance”
Dress in period costume and enjoy a wonderful step back in time.
